Here is another excellent rosé from Costières de Nîmes that we are currently enjoying. It is composed of saignées of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. I love the beautiful, more traditional rosé colour, and of course that it is a great value too.
MAS DES BRESSADES CUVÉE TRADITION ROSÉ 2015, AP Costières de Nîmes
Vintages #950576 • $15.95 • 750ml. • WD Score 88.5/100The wine is a pretty salmon pink. The nose fills with apple blossoms, berry fruit reminiscent of strawberries and raspberries, as well as red apples and cranberries. The wine is dry, with fresh acidity and a medium body. Red apple and berry flavours wash over the palate that is underpinned by very light, silky tannins. A very pleasing rosé indeed — highly recommended.
