PIERRE PAILLARD BOUZY GRAND CRU BRUT ROSÉ CHAMPAGNE

France — Champagne • $64.95 • 92/100

The wine is medium salmon in colour. The nose is rich, slightly yeasty and toasty, with a lightly oxidative note underlying the ripe strawberry, raspberry and lemon fruit. Dry, with bright acidity and a medium body, there is a creamy character that emphasizes the ripe fruit on the palate, but nicely balanced by an increasing freshness towards the finish. Very good right now, but this will also cellar well for a few more years. Overall fine value for a Grand Cru growers Champagne. • Tasted 2017-07-08 • LCBO id#482836 • Find it at your nearest LCBOVINEXX (Agent)
